Pyramid 5’s
Build up and back down in 5-8 sets
Top set at 85%
Then: 75 burpees for time
For the pyramid, we’re going for volume, not a max. Figure out what 85% of your 1RM and work down from there. For example, my max is 140. My goal should be to hit 115-120 for my top set of 5. So, my whole workout would be 5 reps at all the following weights: 55, 75, 95, 105, 115, 120 (if i’m feeling like i’ll be successful), 115, 105, 95, 75, 55. Consider the light weights warm up and cool down. Then burpees. Obvs.
